ice skating



Here it is - the perfect day for ice skating!

After some rain and freezing temperatures, the lake is a sheet of ice and looks like glass - we were able to skate across the entire lake.

Lace cowl

Just finished this cowl, knit from a blend of a baby mohair goat's first shearing, Diane's finnsheep and silk. It is as soft as angora and as lustrious as mink and, oh, so warm, whether wrapped around the neck or worn as a headscarf.

First snow

This beech tree was surprised by a first snowfall before it completed its fall show.

Connor's first visit

3-month old Connor came to Maine for the first time. He's a bit sleepy but content in his mother's arms.

This hoody was a bestseller at the fair this year. I knit one sample with Finnsheep wool from Heron Crossing Farm in Whitefield and one with Llama from Hidden Acres Llama Farm in Jefferson.
