Just finished this cowl, knit from a blend of a baby mohair goat's first shearing, Diane's finnsheep and silk. It is as soft as angora and as lustrious as mink and, oh, so warm, whether wrapped around the neck or worn as a headscarf.

We have very little snow this winter but were graced with snowfall on Christmas Day
This hoody was a bestseller at the fair this year. I knit one sample with Finnsheep wool from Heron Crossing Farm in Whitefield and one with Llama from Hidden Acres Llama Farm in Jefferson.
After a rainy day I hiked in the Jefferson woods and found the most delectable mushrooms: Chanterelles, Boletes andBears' Head Tooth mushrooms who have the same texture as lobster. They all taste wonderfully in a mushroom soup or a simple sauce with herbs and sour cream.
